Hello, everyone.

I've moded picofly more than 100 devices.

This problem is new.

I didn't try the device before modifying it. I'm not sure it's me or not.

Left joy con not detect Just work wirelessly and charging

I've had a lot of problems. It doesn't charge, but it's detect ،Here's the opposite.
I also noticed that the fan doesn't work even when it's over 35c.

I tried changing the rail and fan.

Hi,

I have got a very similar issue after installing a Picofly in a new OLED model. (see https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/page-825#post-10559278 and https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/post-10560321 and https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/post-10564828).

My left joy con is only being charged, but not detected as attached anymore. There is also no animation when the left joy con is attached. Wireless play works fine. The fan works without any issues.

I already checked known working joycon, rail continuity, connector continuity and the resistors next to the connector as mentioned in the posts. I also checked two sides of the APU as shown in the posts without any damage that could explain the fault. I only kept the shield on one side of the APU where the flex cable of the picofly can hold on to.

I found the following post about damaged traces next to the APU that can cause a similar issue (https://gbatemp.net/threads/oled-sw...n-docked-what-is-damaged.646312/post-10355645), but that trace is fine on my board. That post is about the right joy con though, I haven't been able to find the trace equivalent for the left joy con line in the available schematics (Pin 5 or 6, I assume).

If anyone has info on that or different suggestions I would be really grateful. I am kind of at a loss here as to what the fault might be.

Thanks in advance,
dibas

Update 01/25: I managed to solve the issue. After replacing the resistor mentioned here (https://gbatemp.net/threads/picofly-a-hwfly-switch-modchip.622701/post-10560334) the left joy con now connects without any problems!
