My findings are inconclusive.
Why does my Anker USB C hub with HDMI not work for getting video out of the switch.

Is there a workaround? It seems some hubs do work? Does anyone know?
check Your anker power output, you need a min. 15v …2.6-3.0 amp output to work, less will give you problems

Hi,
whenever I try to boot into Atmosphere, I keep getting the 2002-4687 error.

From my research, there doesn't seem to be much I can do except trying to format the SD card
or set up the entire EmuNand again from scratch.

What's the procedure after formatting the EmuNand partition with Fat32?

I want to restore my created EmuMMC backup using Nandmanager.
Do I need to create a new EmuNand with Hekate first (after the format) and then perform a full restore with Nandmanager?

Is that enough, or is there anything else that needs to be done?
If you remove the emuMMC partition, you will need to set another one up before you can restore your old emuMMC backup.
Hi guys, i need help. i have a fatal error (invalid gpt signature) after I migrate all the files from my old sd card from a new one. I made the new smsng 256 gb to fat32, then i cntrlC +cntrlV all atmosphere and the g a m e s + emuMMC to the smsng sd. what i need to do now?
Did you have a file or partition based emuMMC on your old SD card? If you had a partition-based emuMMC, you cannot simply copy and paste that from one SD card to another. You need to use a separate tool to dump it from the old card then restore it onto the new one. You can try using this tool to do that just that.
Hi everyone. Hoping someone knows / have experienced my problem and know the solution to it:

I recently updated my swtich to the latest firmware by mistake. so I downloaded the latest atmosphere-1.5.4, new sig patches and the fusee file and slapped them onto the root of my SD card.

When I load up TegraRcmGUI, I'm able to connect my switch to it (RCM connected screen appears), but the moment I inject the new fusee file, the atmopshere logo appears on my switch but then immediately disconnects from the TegraRCMGUI.

The switch is then booted up in its normal mode.

Does anyone know how to fix this? much appreciated
Are you sure it is not in CFW? CFW and OFW will look the same on the home screen unless you have a custom theme installed.
BEK is missing/
Someone else managed to fix that exact same issue. You can find their post here

Could someone help me with the following situation, because I don't know what to do to solve this, I was playing Fifa on my unlocked Switch Oled until out of nowhere it hard crashed. I went to restart the device, and now it doesn't seem to be able to start normally, the chip's led just flashes purple and then orange...

Is RCMLoader recommend?
Only if you want to make your life easy. It's better than having to be near a computer to push a payload. Be aware that all new RCMLoader units are probably clones of the original, which is no longer made. I read you can't change the payload on the clones, but if you want to use Hekate, it should not be an issue.

Used the Switch power adapter. Still no video out.
Has anyone used a USBC hub vs dock and had it work?
My mistake, I didn't read your previous post properly. A standard usb c hub with hdmi won't work! you need a switch "dock" version, otherwise it wont work.

hello had a rp 2040 installed and now I am trying to start with adding everything to it like firmware and all that. can anyone redirect me to a informative place on this website please and thank you

The usually recommended place to check. It doesn't mention the rp2040 modchip, but it's probably very similar to the hwfly setup.

Anyone know how to get rid of the movement stutter that happens when you run Skyrim at 60FPS in Ryujinx? Framerate is 60fps, but movement is messed up, will stutter sometimes, probably frame pacing.

I need to use FPS-Locker but guide only show how to install on a Switch, but I have same folders in my Ryujinx. I put them where the guide said but no overlay comes up when playing.

Ok so my Win 11 recognizes my 2040 but when i try to flash the firmware on it the flash.bat file says there is no device ready and looking into the device manager it is recognized as unknown and does not show as port. While looking into the properties tab it says it has no drivers installed. Can anyone help

Hi,
I have a 512GB sd card with EmuNAND partititon.
Can I create a backup of the whole card on my PC as a drive image including all the partitions etc?
I'm hoping when the card dies or corrupts, I can just restore the image to a new sd card and easlity continue from there.
Is this possible? with which program I can do this with?

Any idea why I can't get DBI MTP Responder to connect at high speed USB 3.0 speeds on my Launch day V1 Switch?

Using Atmosphere on 16.0.3 with usb30_force_enabled = u8!0x1 in my sysyem_settings.ini

Pluging into my PC's USB C port with the USB C to C cable that came with my Pixel 5 phone. Also tested on another PC that also has native USB C ports - same result.

DBI reports Actual USB Speed: USB 2.0 High Speed

not USB 3.0 Super Speed

Do I need a specific cable? Is USB 3.0 not supported on launch V1 Switch?

I would use DD on my Linux box, but if you're on Windows, there are some suggestions here. But 512 GB is a lot of space to use on your computer's hard disk just for a backup. Maybe WinRar or 7-Zip could compress your image to a more reasonable size, depending how filled up your SD card is?

It has been discussed recently here.

can i get the clk point (d) from somewhere else, on switch lite? The pads were removed from that location and I don't think you can jumper other than on the nand, does it pass nearby trails?

I have a generation 2 switch and am interested in homebrewing it, but to be sure, I wanted to ask the professionals some questions first.

1. RCM Jig
I discovered something I´ve never seen, which is a small connector you slide into the right joycon slot. My question is: Would it work to first use the joycon connector THEN use the RCM jig on a gen 2 switch? Or is the connector already included in RCM jig packages, specifically made for gen 1?

2. Online features
I am worried about losing my ability to buy games, play with friends online and use online apps and games in general. My question is: Does homebrewing remove your online features? If not, can it? If so, what could make it do it?

3. Bonus features
I know you can modify your main menu, mod games and all, but I would like to know other cool abilities included with homebrewing.

Thanks to anyone that replies!
  1. There is no such thing as "generational" gaps for Nintendo Switch consoles. You either have an Erista (unpatched or patched), Mariko, or Aula unit. Also all Nintendo Switch consoles have the same Joycon rails, except the Lite, so jigs aren't differentiated either
  2. Any usage of CFW/hacking/homebrew can lead to a ban
  3. The scene is over 5 years old and it is a very comprehensive list but some other features you unlock include overclocking, cheats, save dumping/modifying, and of course piracy
