in the same factory. After a while, the factory will have upgraded all machines to only produce patched switches. It's the same with firmwares in my experience:



That said, buying any Switch in the XAW100800 range in definitely a gamble. Same with serials that are close to known patched serials.

This is true. My local target has all the new Serial: XAW100826*****. I returned mines and ask the rep if i can look at the serials before buying. FG doesnt work on those. Luckily they had the 700s in the back and got one. Both my purchases for the 700s work fine and was purchased mid july.

Hmm, very interesting. Really hoping my XAW100800 model works. I don't have a jig at the moment and my SX Pro is on its way. I'd imagine I may have just made the cutoff point of a XAW100801 is ok and there are no reports of a 800 not working? Just ones beyond that.

RCM is not what is being patched so its normal as long as you followed gnilwob's tutorial and see the 0 bytes being smashed.

Are you sure? Best Buy kinda said the same thing but I repacked it so perfectly (i only pulled out the switch console and joycons) that they accepted it back. Just make sure you restore back to factory.
