Very nice! Unfortunately, my school has blocked the hacks.guide domain, so I can't read the guides at school easily anymore =/
Good work though, good to see some information now being collected into one place now.

Nice, but why does the guide state the sd card should be Fat32 formatted? Exfat is working for me without a problem.

I'll have to mention that actually. It depends on whether or not you took the ExFAT update (which is a separate fs module that downloads when you try to use an ExFAT micro SD).

This is because ExFAT requires licensing fees to be paid to Microsoft for every device which includes the ability to use ExFAT, so Nintendo just made it an optional download.

Of course, this download requires you to be on the latest system version. Also, it doesn't really matter that much if you use ExFAT because the system splits large files into 4GB parts (Fat32 limit) anyway.

I used the DNS update blocking method in the guide for my 4.1.0, and the internet connection itself seems to work fine, but the eShop consistently gives the error code 2124-8007. I tried re-doing the method, resetting my Switch, etc. Is there a workaround for this? Or is it just a temporary problem?

So my NS is on 2.1.0 so should i upgrade to 3.0.0 or just stay there and wait for CFW ?

You may as well update to 3.0.0 for homebrew now since both versions will get CFW at the same time (assuming you have a Pokken copy).

So does the DNS also stop you from using online features on games? I was unable to download friend maps on Disgaea 5 because of it, would I be unable to play Splatoon as well?

I think it just prevents downloading of stuff, not necessarily online itself. Not wuite sure though.

So, blocking the servers to evade updates, blocks all internet access?? That is the only question I have.
No... Otherwise the guide would just tell you to turn on airplane mode :P The DNS method lets you use online features without worrying about a system update.
(I figured out how to fix the error I was getting btw; had to connect to the eshop on that network with automatic DNS first, then the manual DNS worked.)
