Any way to feed the Switch HDMI output through my (cfw) Wii? My TV is old, no HDMI. Price of an HDMI to SCART or Composite converter I may as well just buy a new TV. But need a workaround until I do.

Alternatively I play on my monitor which isn't the same.

according to your own logic a hdmi to scart converter isnt an option either since this isnt the "same' too (you cant fit a hdmi signal into scart without dropping a major part of quality.... )

I meant that I'd have to be at my PC desk instead of my couch. I really don't give a shit about the video quality, which is half the reason I still use an ancient TV.

Yes you should be fine. Though I'm not sure what it will do if you have a later firmware downloaded and pending to install. If someone wants to clarify on that, it would be welcome.

I figure if it's prompting you to update when launching apps you have it downloaded. Not sure how else.

Enter the system settings, then scroll all the way down to "console" or whatever it's called in English. Underneath the system update button, it tells you which version you're currently on. If an update is downloaded, it won't tell you which version you're on, and instead it'll say "a system update is ready" (or something similar).

Just turn it off (not sleep!) and turn it on again holding + and -

It will clear the updates

My Switch is on 3.0.0, no NNIDs and never been connected to the internet. I really wanted to check my playtime but apparently I need to have an NNID registered to my profile to view it?

Hard to say until libtransistor matures. But odds are no, I wouldn't expect modifying system functionality to be available in a userland environment.
