technically RCM mode is booted when the system menu is brickedAbsolutely no way that it crashes to RCM.

The thing is, nobody knows if this battery issue has any damaging effects or not, so it might be wise to get it sorted sooner rather than later.I did, looks like a bit too much.
Do the Nintendo support link that I sent. Takes a while, but it works. It's what I did.I did, looks like a bit too much.
I don't use the switch in handheld as much as I did today to get it under 50%, so I'll probably wait for a day where I can afford to just keep the switch on and keep power cycling it.Do the Nintendo support link that I sent. Takes a while, but it works. It's what I did.
The Switch already goes into RCM if you remove the eMMC
My point was, therefore any slight corruption would be enough to force that.I never said it didn't. I'm suggesting a way into RCM from software related to something mentioned earlier in the thread.
My second line mentions the eMMC! Lol
If you run Linux, don't bother contacting nintendo...I'm having the same issue. Trying the Nintendo support method and hoping it works.
Its so easy to take out a few screws and just disconnecting the battery plug, press power button for a few seconds, reconnect it and just screw it back...Also I want to clarify that the same thing happened with DOOM. I've been playing alot of indie games today and those drain much less battery.
Your battery calibration is probably messed up from Linux.
Follow these directions to try and fix it.

What's your point with quoting me? I just sent a support link, not a phone number to call. The symptoms are the same, and that support link fixed by issue from running Linux.-snip-
it was because I was on a phone and couldnt be bothered to copy and paste the link in your post. What's your point with quoting me? I just sent a support link, not a phone number to call. The symptoms are the same, and that support link fixed by issue from running Linux.
Oh, ok.it was because I was on a phone and couldnt be bothered to copy and paste the link in your post.
So essentially a Blue Shell Of Death? The switch goes into panic mode when the blue shell appears.
