So my switch couldnt read SD Cards....so i bought a replacement slot because the old one was dead. However my switch can read the sd if i put pressure with fingers on the connectors....if i release finger it either runs in 1bit mode (hekate) or it dont read it at all (hekate says reboot). so i guess my mobo pins are damaged, but i cant repair myself. can someone recommend me someone who can do it for me? i need my switch because i get in hospital for 5 weeks starting end of may and i want to take my switch with me. (it has a trinket m0 inside so it shows an indicator for sd card status aswell)

I bought an replacement sd Reader slot from ifixit

It reads my sd only if I, put preasure against connectors...if I take my Finger away it dont read it

Do you know if any of your FPC connector is missing any pins sound like your FPC connector needs to be replaced, that require soldering work.

since you say giving pressure to the connector it does read the card, I suspect the female connector on the mobo is loose solder joint.
Unfortunately you from German, or I may help you with it from Canada
