Hardware Switch Bricked?

I know you guys get this question a lot, but bear with me here. So a while ago my switch supposedly got ‘bricked’. It won’t turn on at all. Also before you suggest holding down the power button for 12 seconds and pressing it again, no, that didn’t work. I’ve had my switch for a bit over a year now, and it’s been working perfectly. Up until 8.0.0. I tried doing 8.0 cfw, but for some reason it didn’t work. I couldn’t really find a fix online, seeing as how it just came out, so I just decided not to try to fix it myself. A while later when I was at my friends house, I turn on my switch, get a black screen with white text, and then it went completely to black. It hasn’t turned on since. I’ve tried everything. I’ve tried Docking, plugging it into the wall, seeing if it was in RCM, holding the power button for 12, 30 and 60 seconds, tried holding the power and volume up button, and all of the above with joycons detached. Personally, I’m pretty sure I’m screwed, but at the same time I’m hopeful that you guys will be able to say otherwise. If I have to buy another switch it’s not the end of the world though.

Is your switch a patched unit?
Do you have a back up?
What happens when you connect it to your computer? Does your computer detect if it's in rcm mode?
Can you push a payload/hekate?

I don’t think it’s a patched unit. I think I got mine around early May of 2018. (Might not be accurate)
Also no made a backup on a pc that broke a while ago and then never made another one like an idiot.
Also when I connect it to my pc, nothing happens. No rcm at all. Nothing except for my led cable lighting up.

Just to make sure, you have the drivers installed installed on the pc?
Have you tried charging it for an extended time?
Can you put it into rcm?

Yeah I have the drivers. Also I’ve sorta just left my switch on the dock with the ac adapter plugged in so I think it would be ok power wise. Also no I can’t. I’ve only tried a few times with a paperclip but I’m pretty sure it won’t work. Might try again later though.
