Not at all. First off you'll have to remember what game is which cause it doesn't change the game icon. Also this method doesn't seem to work 100% of the time plus you cant even save the gamr and I'll also have to connect to the computer everyone I reboot instead of having a nice pocket size device to send a payload, sx os can do a lot more than run backups.

Do you truly, honestly think this stuff isn't going to be worked out in a short period of time? Is this your first rodeo around these parts?

That would be a good idea. Believe me, I cannot wait for the day a free loader is released like FBI or Freeshop, but I don't think we are there quite yet. I know TX's code will be cracked and I do hope that happens so the scene can improve on it.

A start to finish guide would be helpful really. I have never used Hactool, I don't know what's needed, I know nothing about editing the NPDM, etc...

However, given how this is using Atmosphere and SciresM's work from ReSwitch (which apparently are highly anti-piracy), it wouldn't take long for Scires to add a check to only load up layeredFS if the original title matches that of the modified one.

At the end of the day you are still getting free games for a small compromise with a huge payoff (before getting banned) so does it really matter which way you do it?

It all counts for the short term, I'm sure by the end of the month there will be a time where users like us will all stand under one decisive winner of this free game battle. I think ill chose the side that doesn't have a price tag.

Well you have to remeber TX is a company, so they have years of proper experience with this, and also proper funding since you know 30 dollars, plus this backup loader is just the first day so just give it some time!

After finally sifting through all 14 pages, I can confirm this only works on the latest firmware. OP really needs to update his post with that information. Probably why many users can't get this working.

Everytime you get an error on the switch it gets logged. The guys before me are an example. Those errors will get people banned, now they're all happy and hyped for the new toy, not thinking about the consequences(if they care about online at least).

Seriously.. It would be too much work to stay on top of it. Not to mention, it's entirely open source. So, he adds a check, someone else removes it. That game of cat and mouse would become so redundant, and so fast.
