exFAT-formatted SD cards have corruption issues on the Nintendo Switch. Backing up the contents of your SD card(s) and reformatting them as FAT32 is highly recommended.
There are three types of NSP files:
- Base game (the actual game)
- Update (you only need the latest one)
- DLC (you can have multiple DLC NSP files installed)
I'm sorry, but I don't understand from your post what the problem is. Perhaps you should post a photo.
Are you using the proper signature patches?
Do you have a Nintendo account linked? Maybe that game requires it, you can fake link with https://gbatemp.net/threads/linkalho-link-your-nintendo-account-offline.573676/

You get not prompt at all, it just start the shop channel instead of the game?
Do me a favour, go to
"settings"->"data management"->"manage software".
look for the game you installed. Tell me these two things:
-What game is it exactly
-How many GB does the switch say is installed

Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
