I came across a piece of nds homebrew called SvSIP that lets you call people with a nds and wanted to setup it on my 3ds but whenever I try to open it, it either freezes or gives an error message. Could someone give me a currently working guide or something similar to this for the 3ds?

OK, sorry for the late response, I have a cold. (I think I might beat it soon though) iirc TWLightmenu++ doesn't work with homebrew right now, just DSiWare, DSi Homebrew, (Installed to system memory) Retail DS roms, Rom Hacks of said DS games. (Also, I'm pretty sure that svsip flat out doesn't work on the 3DS at all.)

Sorry for not responding for a while, I was on a family road trip without much internet. A lot of the ds homebrew I tried didn't work so would a flash cart make stuff run better?

Well, yeah. ESPECIALLY older brew's. Also, I'm not so sure that svsip works on a 3DS, if at all, though I don't have a DSi, DS lite, or DS Phat to test this.

Dude, use Luma3DS and update the damn firmware on your 3DS.
this is my test unit, back when I helped make a9lh and things like that, it's purpose is to use a "utility firmware" that can borderline be compatible with newer firms and older firms (old3ds). I know I could update it, but that's why I don't, it's a development console only.(not a dev, but a retail "dev") my other 3ds's are on the latest no worries lol

Ahh, I see.

it doesnt support 3ds tho
It does, if you run it through "NTR Launcher" - but it remains a questionable obscure flashcard (likely with a non-rewritable firmware and therefore without the spontaneous bricks of the r4isdhc.com, but running who knows what kernel with who knows what compatibility)
