Whenever I coldboot, and go into CtrBootManager -> HBL -> svdt, none of my installed .cia's on my emuNAND are targettable. They're all system apps like play store and augmented reality etc. Help?

because you are not in emunand, you are still in sysnand.
boot homebrew from emunand

Hello,

I'm trying to copy my gamesave of Rokoban (FF053) on my O3DS.
SaveDataFiler says it's broken and I can't seem to use svdt for that.
Does anybody have a fast way to copy it (I want to transfer it to my N3DS)

I'm currently updating svdt to compile with a newer version of ctrulib. Once I finish with that, and debug some issues I've encountered, I should be able to update the way it builds such that it can generate .cia files. So, soon. Also, if anyone has any documentation about fs:USER system services not already in 3dbrew.org, I'll appreciate being pointed in that direction. I've encountered some behavior having to do with needing multiple fs:USER handles to get svdt to work properly.

Any chance of getting this as .cia? svf a shit

svdt doesn't work as a .cia since it currently relies on how *hax works. that is, its ability to start a game process and take it over. unless you are trying to get around this limitation...

You're right, I had forgotten about that (which is ironic, since part of the issue that I had while porting it had to do with reading the darn game data from some process-specific location). I need to do more reading about what exactly is going on with the 3DS both under normal conditions and while in HBL to see if anything can be done.

Well, while it is true that some parts of the program rely on Ninjhax to make it tick, you've got the source for both Ninjhax and The homebrew menu available at your disposal, as well as the documentation for ctrulib.
Best of luck to you with this endeavor, I've been looking forward to having a viable alternative to SaveFL that doesn't involve using the Homebrew launcher for a while.

does it work with a different game? I think ACNL works normally...
The thing is, I can't access the menu. The app doesn't launch when I select it from the homebrew launcher.
It get stuck at a red screen at the bottom, so I can't try other games :/

it seems like you're missing some files...

put these at /3ds/svdt even if they already exist:
https://github.com/meladroit/svdt/releases/download/v0.10.42d/svdt.3dsx
https://github.com/meladroit/svdt/releases/download/v0.10.42d/svdt.smdh
https://github.com/meladroit/svdt/releases/download/v0.10.42d/svdt.xml
https://github.com/meladroit/svdt/releases/download/v0.10.42d/asr.dat

Thanks! It seems I was missing the asr.dat file.

I'm now currently dumping AC.

BTW, can this be used to put the save file back? Or I must use another tool?
