Is anyone able to create a backup of the Oot3d save from Gateway with this and upload it? The .sav from gateway doesn't seem to work with this (awesome) program.

edit: For use on an N3DS-9.0.0 E
Many thanks!
That's because Gateway uses a different type of save format. Ocarina of time uses .dat files for its save format. And don't just try renaming the extension, because that probably won't work and will most likely corrupt your save.

Curious, do we have a cia version of the homebrew launcher yet? This would be a good workaround for cfw users who want to use svdt

Edit: Nevermind... Just that was said above!

Nope, and isn't possible that! (Maybe would be viable if anyone creates a "svdt" .cia file version, but not HBL)

Wouldn't savedatafiller be the preferable application to use over svdt? If you have access to it, why would you need to use this?

Because most people probably aren't on 9.2 or lower and therefore can't do things like install .cia files.

Ninjhax 2-based exploits are userland only.

I know that, I just forgot to insert the quote I was replying to. The person i meant to quote asked for a .cia version of the app, so I was asking why they didn't just use savedatafiller.

svdt might be easier to use than SaveDataFiler.

But to add on top of that, svdt has a Ninjhax 2 backend so it probably can't be ported so easily. SDF is a better choice for now.

SaveDataFiler is awful.

I thought svdt relied on hb_menu stuff, which has had it's source released. We also need ninjhax 2 source then?

Well it's that it probably relies on things that the Homebrew Launcher provides. svdt would need a rewrite, or at least some big changes, for it to work standalone as far as I know.

That's why I asked about a cia of the Homebrew Launcher.

But we have the homebrew menu source now, right? Why is it impossible with kernel access?
Yes, but really HBL isn't able to load .3dsx homebrew files, only for invoke them... The unique thing able to load .3dsx files ATM is anyone of *Hax!

PS: Sorry for asking too late!

Ok, so it ain't possible for someone who has access to gateway mode to create an entry point and back it up using this program? Once written to the retail cart there's no difference of save file type right? It's the format of the backup that's different.
