So every time I attempt to use SVDT with Fates, I get a red screen (bottom) and black screen on top. I have A9LH and Luma3DS installed and I have tried JSKM, too. Thanks!

If you have A9LH, you should be using the .cia version of JKSM.
If you insist on using SVDT or other .3dsx save managers, then read this: https://github.com/ihaveamac/9.6-dbgen-xmls

Tbh, I just use the save managing options included with FBI, haven't needed anything else since using it.
