just follow the golden rule....DO NOT UPDATE!!!!!!!!

ya i got 2 wiis. 1 unmooded and 1 modded.. the unmodded one that had 4.0 already came up with a system update after an internet test, and it downloaded something...

im not touching my modded wii with it...

i was just giving a warning b/c no1 seems to know about this post 4.0 update yet so if some1 tries to update to 4.0 it may include these updated files from just now in them..

Every time you do an internet test it will prompt you to update no matter what firmware you're on.

Don't worry about it, there's nothing new.

the new update seems to block me from installing/using ios16. not that it mattered anyway, cause no matter what i do i get error 1035

That's because the update is none other than 4.0 and that blocks the use of IOS16. That's old news and is why you have to use the DVDX downgrade trick.

Everytime i check my internet or test it, it allways asks for an update but it does nothing.

Yeah, unfortunately the update blocking preloader hacks appear to have missed blocking this update pathway

"bannerbomber still works"

"That's because it's 4.0 and not a new update.
