Hacking Superkey not working help!

My friend bought a superkey and we cant figure out how to get it to work.

I own a maxmedia launcher and it shows the .nds files fine

but when I put the superkey in, it only gives me an option to load the supercard (micro) aka gba slot and it doesnt show the .nds games at all.

any ideas?

It sounds like the SK is defective. What happens when you put it in without a flashcart in?

I thought it was just defective too. He left already so I dont know what happens but Im sure its just a DOA piece
