Hello ppl!!

I just got my Supercard SD accompanied with a Kingston Micro SD 1 GB along with its mini SD adaptor.

I've patched some roms through the latest update of the SC application but unfortunately I came along with some unpleasant things.

#1. I often get an error when loading a rar or a .gba file to the patcher. It reads "Open file error".
#2. After the roms/rars are loaded, the patch - column of the patching application indicates "Fail" on some instances. Fortunately sometimes although it says "fail" the roms load properly after being patched.
#3. I cannot save my games on the card. I sometimes manage to instant-save but I cannot save the games properly (i.e. through the game itself).

U got any ideas why these things happen?

I'm looking fwd to hearing from u.. till then, i'll keep playin ASTROBOY... yeah baby!!

1. Change your output folder. Never output directly to the card; instead, output to your hard drive first and manually copy them over to your media card. Also, if the RAR fails, try extracting it first and then running the plain *.gba file through the patcher.

2. No clue about that one, as I never use my Supercard for GBA gaming.

3. First save in-game using whatever mechanism the game normally uses (Start menu, save point, etc). Then press the L+R+A+Select button combo to send the updated save info to the *.sav file on your card. This must be done after you save in-game every time. If this fails, you can try the QPC method of saving, which is described at http://wiki.pocketheaven.com/Supercard
Otherwise use the Real-Time Save feature with the L+R+B+Select button combo.

EDIT: on a side note, make sure you've updated your Supercard's firmware to the latest version. Otherwise there's no guarantee that games patched with the latest patcher will work on the older firmware.

1. i've already done that. unfortunately i have to extract each and every .gba file from rars.

2. still getting loads of "fail"s in the Patch column.

3. using both normal and instant save. some saves still dont work. am i doing sth wrong? some games are ok while others dont.
