Lali ho!

I have a Supercard mini SD, but the thing is, I am not even sure if it works.
Dont have any miniSD to try it out.
Does microSD to miniSD converter work on the supercard mini SD?

If you use an adapter, it just treats the MicroSD like it's a MiniSD. It will work fine. It's just like using a MicroSD card in an SD adapter to use in SD devices such as digital cameras.
It's just how the device has to read the memory, not really anything else.

Thanks for the info!
Ordered an adapter. Hopefully it will work

.

I am guessing newer NDS games dont work on the miniSD? Or can patched games work?

You're better off picking up an Original R4 for Slot 1 and placing the Wood firmware on it if you want an inexpensive flash cart that can run newer releases. The Slot 2 method is fairly outdated and is used by few at this point.

I already have AK2i lol.
But having a slot 2 is a great addition. If I remember correctly NDS games from slot 2 runs smoother?
Like no lag with Castlevania and so on..

IIRC it only improves/allows perfect, native gba playing, the lag on ds games is due to your microsd card on your slot 1 flashcart
Supercard MiniSD lags with GBA games. Try Super Mario World and you'll see.

Or Golden Sun 2.

A 3in1 will take you out of that misery, 60fps in the heaviest games. Including Golden Sun2

EZ-IV should be similar, too.

Forgot to post back.
I have received my adapter on tuesday and it works fine.
but how does it save again? xD

I am playing Pokemon Emerald, and it doesnt save. I have it patched with the patcher and put the save also in my memory card.

(also, I tried using the Save backup/restore tool for pokemon, the one at project pokemon. It detects my slot 2 card but then gets stuck. I cant seem to be able to do anything)

To save on the Supercard, first save in-game, then press a certain button combination (found on the Supercard website). It should pop up a screen asking if you want to save, and you confirm it. Then you can power off.

If, for some reason, the box doesn't pop up (either you never checked the appropriate patching option or the game just isn't working) then as an alternative you can try the "Quick Power Cycle" method of saving, outlined at http://www.pocketheaven.com/ph/wiki/Supercard#QPC_Saving

You very probably will get your save file corrupted after beating the Elite Four, since as far as I'm aware, the Supercard SD and miniSD only support up to 64kb save files while Pokémon requires 128kb to function correctly.

But I'm not sure if the "enable more saver" option in the Supercard patcher is to use 128kb save files. I've tried asking around once and nobody bothered to give me an answer.

I'm pretty sure this "enable more saver" is for more save slots in case you and someone else want to play the same ROM and save.

You cant use a 3in1 with a 3DS, correct, so there is no way to play GBA games on 3DS smothly, with supercard dstwo.

Will it play snes smoothy, and without the extra memory, will it play backed-up ds roms smoothly? (non-pirated, "non-illegal", I want to put some ds games on card to allow cheats etc).

to legally backup ds carts u need a ds lite/phat, but all DS roms should play perfectly smoothly no matter what DS device you're playing it on

however the SNES emulator is similar to the GBA emulator in that it runs off of the cpu and isn't the smoothest experience on some games, however it cannot be improved with the extra memory anyway, so you are getting the best SNES emulator possible on any DS
