And, the product using TF card will be released next month.
It cost about RMB200=USD25 in China.

A company designs the plans, chips, and data on the chips and has them produced at a factory that makes chips. Technically, you can probably make these flash carts for a few bucks (mass produced of course). If you have the VHDL code or VLSI code. We made some CMOS chips in a college class and had them fabricated it, quite neat, very hard.

Any Joe Friday can get a chip manufactures, but it'll costs a bunch if you just want one if the factory has to build anything fancy to make them.

I don't think anybody has one yet, but from the email I got from romman I would say that the functionality will be the same as the mini-SD SuperCard - only the size and memory type are different.
