The guy probelly took the menu and made a .NDS file and made it like a new OS it most likely can't run Commercial roms anyways.

I think I might know how to do it... HE might have made the DSTT firmware load on the SCDS1. Maybe just to lie and show off. As the SuperCard DS One has that triple boot feature. It loadede it's own firmware, DSTT and YSMenu. So maybe he held one of the buttons, and then claimed used the .nds file to load to the SCDS1 firmware.
