Great news, just one little question:
How's the video quality? Is it as good as the iPlayer's media player?

I'm guessing it's the same one iPlayer uses, which has just been ported to DSTWO without any improvements.
Incase people are more interested on the playback from iPlayer:

Xvid/Divx: Perfect
WMV: Handles small files fine, any bigger and it becomes choppy
MP4: Choppy and unwatchable
MKV: I don't remember if it didn't work alltogether or if it ran really choppy when I tried it the first time.
FLV: Runs small files fine, any bigger and it gets stuck loading it

You can't really try one MKV and say it doesn't work anyway....like AVI, MKV files can hold many many kinds of video/audio.

Yes, it's a container and the only reason I want MKV is for anime. Almost all the new anime released uses mp4 (x264 etc)in their MKV container. So don't count on it working with anime that are from year 2000 and up.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect x264 to work well, but I'm sure a lot of stuff besides that (assuming the resolution isn't uber high) will work decently enough. I'm more curious about if subs/audio switching will work. I have some MKV of one anime series that ought to play on the DSTwo fine.

Exactly my reason for buying an iPlayer(which doesn't work). If MKV files work, then I will be a VERY happy Warrior.

"all the amazing promised features are coming true: GBA emulator, SNES emulator, native DivX player, etc. " I really don't get why GBAtemp is advertising the DSTWO, why ? I really don't get it ? There are better cheaper flash carts and this is just nothing special.

GBA: emulator sucks, 30 or below unstable fps.
Snes: Seriously ? the Snes emulator ? this piece of crap ? even the SNEmulDS is WAAAAY better than this, yes filled with graphical glitches but still superior.
Ireader: Don't even make me start..

I wont be having high hopes with the player, it will probably suck like everything else. Ill be fair with the DSTWO because I'm happy with the DSTWO in terms of compatibility and many carts out there have excellent compatibility, so it doesn't really offer anything special. if I knew that the "features" would be THIS bad I wouldn't have bothered and just got my self a normal cart. I would of just stick to my cyclo and DSL, you can NEVER go wrong with the cyclo.

Meow, from what I'm reading your experiences with the emulators put you in the minority... and not everybody has a slot-2 to play GBA games natively anyways.

Was it cyclo or some other team that died? GBA, it depends on what game. Most I've tried work good/great. Snes isn't the best, but understandably so. I still think it's better than Snemule. What's wrong with iReader? DStwo is a special cart; it's better than the others. (not a fact, don't shoot me!) And is your avatar thing a lego eating an onion? PS, DSi means DStwo is the only way for GBA.

what do you expect? it's a slot-1 running gba roms, which is close to impossible on a normal flashcart.

snemulds can't run super mario world, smrpg, yet sfc can.
ireader: don't even make me start..
what's wrong with it? it's pretty nice. the only problem is that the rows in my *.txt files are too long.

i don't think i'd count smrpg since it runs terribly, though just the same i agree with you. there are games that i know that either don't run or don't run well on snemulds that work perfectly on the ndssfc dstwo emulator.

it runs well enough to play-- i've gotten used to the timing needed for action commands in battle and stuff. video isn't a bad addition to the card.

There are only two real features I want from this -

1. Error diffusion in the image. Pictures reduced to 16bit always look bad, error diffusion helps to fix this (see moonshell2)
2. Bookmarking. I can't sit through a whole movie on my DS, (I don't get long enough breaks at work) so it's a must for me that the playback can start where it left off last time without me having to search through the whole movie.
