Thanks for the link...

Hmmmm I wonder
- If we DLDI DSVideo with the DSTwo DLDI library - would that count as the 'actual code' of DSVideo been modifed for the DSTwo, & in doing so - could we make that into a DSTwo 'DSVideo Plugin (Complete)' package ???

Whenever I try to run plants vs zombies, it comes up as

FILE
PopCap
NOT FOUND.

ERROR CODE: 1.
SYSTEM STOPPED.

Anyway to fix this?

Well I'm sure I'll be told off if it's NOT allowed - but I've uploaded a 'Complete' DSVideo plugin onto Filetrip (includes bmp,ini AND 'DLDI-patched' nds)

Same thing but with a different icon

@ dhjohn: Can you either remove or change the link address in posts #396 and #399 - I've just realised that I have put the wrong link address to the plugin

It SHOULD be ' http://filetrip.net/f12600-DSTwo-DSVideo-Plugin-1-0.html ' but I accidentally put in ' http://filetrip.net/f4179-DSVideo-1-10.html '
- which is the link to the actual program, Thanks

Can someone upload the DS_Game Icon?
Do you mean this one
4906173719_fd17f2bb98_t.jpg
- If so you can find it in the default DSTwo's skin 'icon' folder

Or do you mean you want a plugin for the DS_Game so that you can change the name - then there's one avaliable here

Thanks for that! I remember reading somewhere on how to change that name, and it was extremely complex, but this way is so much better.

So I've recently grabbed the Lameboy plug-in for my DSTWO to relive the past by playing Pokémon - Crystal Version.

I just want to ask if there is anything that I should know about Lameboy...like controls and stuff. I think L+R is to get to the Lameboy Menu to configure settings right? If so, I need to learn more about what the things in the Lameboy Menu do.

Also, I've encountered saving problems on Pokémon - Crystal Version. When I saved, it saved fine. I went to the Lameboy Menu (L+R) and messed with the settings a bit. When I came to check Pokemon Crystal again, I had to start a new game. Do I have to manually exit via the Lameboy Menu Exit method to save correctly?

@r4ymond from my experience playing dragon quest monsters cobi adventure what i do is save in the game then press L+R to access the menu to save using the game menu as well then exit manually and it works that way for me

I'd like to place a request for an Every ExteNDS plugin.

Thanks a lot

EDIT: Tested on DSI, and it works, but for some reason it shows a question mark icon instead of the icon you provided... not sure what's causing it, CBDS has the same problem.

I've always saved the state, and then whenever I load my game, it auto loads the last saved state.

I thought it was just R to get to the lameboy menu? and L to fast forward.

That's weird - you haven't changed the name of the nds file by any chance ??

You should have 'e2.nds' , 'e2.bmp' and 'e2.ini' files in the plugin folder (all 3 files names MUST match).

As for CBDS - this one you need to rename 'CBDS.nds' to 'ComicBookDS.nds' and place it into the '_dstwoplug' folder (it is mentioned on the filetrip plugin page

)

-----
This is because I've changed the way I name the plugins now

When I first started making DS2 plugins I was naming files by what people were calling the program, which sometimes meant people had to change the name of the actual Homebrew nds to match the plugin name (as in the case of 'comicbook') - but I found that sometimes people didn't realise this needed doing & end up with the Orange '?' icon (like you have)
(I had also came across 1 or 2 programs that HAD to keep the original nds name, otherwise it wouldn't run right)

My later plugins (well MOST of them - there are still one or two exceptions) are now named as how the 'nds' file is named (as in the case of EveryExteNDS - the actual program is called 'e2.nds', hence the plugin is called 'e2.ini/bmp') so people just had to copy the nds over without having to rename it

Sorry for the confusion

So you saved the game with the Lameboy Save or the game save?

I've only ever used the lameboy menu save feature. I can see how that will be an issue with pokemon (seeing as how they make you quit after saving after the Elite Four) and you wouldn't be able to extract pokemon or anything to hack the sav file, but it works great for other games.

Sorry for the double post, but this is a different topic, and I'm not sure exactly where to put this. Given that Snemulds has that layering issue, is there anything wrong with jenesisds? If there were games on both consoles, should I just get the one for the jenesis, simply because it might (?) not have the same issues? I never noticed a quality difference in my games between snes and genesis, like my mighty morphin' power rangers.

Or aladdin. That layering issue though is quite the pain in the cheeks.

EDIT: when will the OP be back again? Can't wait for this to get updated.
