So if you already have a firmware writer, you can use that..?

That sounds like a "Buy a second card, it's fun" offer to me.

Pretty Much.
-1 to Team Supercard.

Pffft. If you are a DSonei fan, you'll be happy.

I'd buy an Acekard Max with a firmware writer.

Maybe they added some features to this one that the original doesn't have

Personally, I myself don't like cards with a window in the shell. But that's just my personal preference.

@Cat Boy: Obviously. Whatever that might be...

DSi mode?

There's nothing else of interest right now.

A new DSi card was announced by OzModChips for January...

None that I know about. DS2, DSTTi, AK2i: No, they don't have a battery.

But I don't know about Onei Classic.

Maybe for the firmware update.

Once the card gets inserted but won't work, and it notices a new DAT file at the mSD, it updates itself with the battery..? -- That's just a theory, of course.

the only thing that uses a battery are slot 2 expansions

maybe GBA SUPPORT like the 3in1

built in 3 in 1

i dont think its dsi mode
why would they have dsi mode on the dsone but not on the dstwo

Team Supercard sells the DSOnei now $3 cheaper but without a firmware writer and nobody knows how to flash it???
They might have changed it so it updates the same way as the Supercard DStwo
Impossible, the DSTwo uses its built in CPU to run the update program as soon as power is given to the device by the DS(i). That's how it works even if the card itself can't boot on the current DSi firmware.
