Go to http://wiihack.cjb.net/ then click on "Virtual Console injections"

It's a pain to go there xD just need a clean list of the ones that have been "officially" released.

And the way to insert banners... it's VERY complicated and risky. Just wait for them to release their tool.

People over at #Wiidev are the only ones against them... what about you people?

Well, anything that uses the code of other developers is illegal, and they are against it.
I respect their opinion, but... I'm the only one releasing this type of things at this moment.

In all fairness, hacking the Wii is illegal, isn't it? So who cares? Shouldn't we focus on a common goal of bettering the hacking community for the Wii instead of getting caught up in whats legal and whats not, because face it, 99% of everything done to the Wii is illegal.

The V2 of SSB has got the savegame image/text modified.

And yes, everything that is homebrew for Wii can be seen as illegal, because you're touching things you're not supposed to do. But, it all depends on how each person sees things.

Well... it's pretty dumb they are against them. Even if you are morally opposed to Vc injections (Why would you be? How can you buy what nintendo won't sell?) all the "legitimate" homebrew channels have the same kind of image banners right? Don't they want those channels to have unique banners?

Very nice, works perfectly

A few of the injects ive created that would be great to have custom banners for, are the ones that you most likely will never see come officially to virtual console such as

Super Mario Allstars + Super Mario World

Chrono Trigger

Earthbound

Super Mario Kart

Ive gotten as far as getting the correct save file names, just not confident to try custom banners myself.

When you purchase a VC game, you're not only buying the game, but the emulator that it runs on as well.

There is this horrible double standard when it comes to laws regarding software. When it benefits the company it is treated as a physical item. (You are never really stealing anything, what you are actually doing is making a copy of something and using it.) But when it doesn't it is treated differently. If I buy a toaster in a store then do I not have the right to break it apart and use it's bits to make something else? Ok, but how come hacking into software and using it for a different purpose is considered not only illegal, but immoral to some? You can't have it both ways, either software is intellectual property or it is a physical product.

i installed the wad of ssb with the banner edited and such and it is looking fantastic.
