Super Smash Bros. Rumble Update
5th Demo Released

Well, more progress on the SSB remake for the Nintendo DS.
This version has only one stage, and nine characters. More about the update & download below.

QUOTE(Developer's Comment) said:
I know everyone has been waiting for a 5th Demo and I'll give it to you. There is currently only 1 stage but 9 characters. We're having problems with the KT_lib/EFS system so more stages could take a week. Keep in mind this is only the Beta Version so a fixed version will come soon. Please no posts on the forum like This demo sucks there's only 1 stage and no music! because we know and we're working on it. But I hope you guys enjoy the demo. If you see Fuzzy on the forum thank him for the help with the KT_Lib.

Do they need to release a demo every time they add a character or scratch their ass? Fix the engine first before just adding characters to make random nerds on the internet happy.

Not bad, not bad. Sprites were better than I thought. A little wonky but I understand it's a beta...

Did they JUST add characters and a stage, or did they do something else?
No they took away stages. That's what the post says: "This version contains one stage and nine characters"

I'm just going to try it.

I read that, what I meant was did they change physics of the game? Or is that coming in the next version?

I don't know but I'm going to try it now.

I'll upload it to the GBATemp download center, my first upload.

If they keep this up they WILL get shut down. They need to only release major updates or none at all.
As well as source code so the project can go round robin WHEN, not if, they get shut down.

Once it is complete and released to the wild there will be no stopping it.
They are tempting the copyright infringement gods.

I enjoyed this project at first but now all I see in the gameplay is following your opponent around and attempting to hit them high enough since the ceiling boundaries are so low. Too many things need to be changed. The developers are probably being overwhelmed but the amount of character requests. =.="

i think they really need to fix the gameplay as there are just too many bugs

It's a beta it's supposed to have bugs.
Yes but what he is saying is that the bugs should be addressed first. Rather than just adding characters without improving the gameplay.
Also, I just lost the game.

Too many gameplay bugs in this game. Why are they adding more when they should be fixing the parts that were already added? Sure it's 'beta' but the whole point of beta is to fix bugs, they can update things AFTER they have fixed the bugs.

After all, content updates tend to happen AFTER beta.
