Not necessarily. Check the db, serial often doesn't equate to filename.

That's just the serial code. Most likely, that's what the actual rom will be called, but the filename you search for when looking for the actual scene release could be different depending on who released it, where it was released, etc.

Trust me though, when it's publicly available, you'll know.

Absolutely not. Smash is not designed to be competitive. It's designed to be fun. There's nothing wrong with that, in that area it excels, hell Smash has been a prime party game since its first incarnation. Taking it in a "competitive" direction and boiling down all the fun and soul from it is not what a mascot fighter should be about. It should be about choosing characters you like and fighting other characters that people like.

I agree completely. I watch people wave-dashing and cancelling this and that to save frames of animation and it just makes me a little sad that they can't really play at parties with their friends unless all of their friends are similarly deranged.

I'm pretty good at Smash, I just don't see the point in taking away parts of the game until it's a shell of its former self.

Competitive shits have Melee, if you want competitive Smash go play Melee and keep your cancer away from new games. Everyone else enjoyed the shit out of Brawl. I want more Brawl.
