Hacking super mario kart

Are you running it on an emulator? If so, what flashcard do you have? If you don't have a Supercard DSTwo, SNES emulation will be slow on every other card due to power limitations.

He/she said they have a DSTWO in the OP.

Going on that are you using the offiacial SUpercard emu or the CATSFC emu?

Switch to CATSFC and try the game. It is a much better emulator based on the Supercard source.

edit: WOW did not know that it auto linked to filetrip
whenever i try to download it the internet stops working  the CATSFC file i mean

Curious to hear how well super mario kart's grand prix mode works for you guys.

I tried super mario kart on my DS2/CATSFC a couple of months ago - time trial mode with a single kart wasn't too bad, but grand prix mode with 8 karts lagged so badly, that it rendered the game unplayable. Didn't matter what cpu setting I tried with CATSFC, either.

I'm no expert, but in my experience, the DS2 snes emus don't have quite enough power to properly play some of the games that originally used a DSP chip (although the first couple of levels of snes pilotwings seem to work well enough).

CATSFC and BAGSFC are both SNES emulators for the DS2.

The DS2 GBA emu is a different application, although the GUI for both GBA and SNES emus on the DS2 are almost identical from a user's standpoint.
