Hacking super mario galaxy help

can any one help me please i have a backup of smg but in the like little intro where its tell you about the stars falling and stuff just befoe the game starts on like the third page the volume just cuts out and it says unable to read disk

can anyone tell me why this does this?

i am useing a yaosm 2.0 chip with maxell dvd-r is it ok if i use a dvd+r

Bad burn possibly? Maybe bad media.

oh right kk is it ok if i use dvd+r or will that damage my wii lens

yeah, sounds like a bad burn.
DVD- seams to be the best for Wii, but DVD+ works as well (well, donno if YAOSM supports it, but most chips does)

so +r isnt bad for the wii lens thing lol

there is also a crap release floating around.. that crashes at the start i believe.

i have it working now thanks but i would just like to know if dvd+r are bad for the console for the future any help is gladly helpful
