The game went from a maybe to a must buy. Wow, I don't really know how to describe how great the trailer was.
Also, Bowser's pimpmobile
Give credit to BeanBeanKingdom for making it. He posted it here
I hope Wart is the true final boss, because this game reminds me of the western version of SMB2 with the 4 same characters and cherries.
I am now fully reassured about this game.
Woo! Now only if I had a Wii U.
Who cares, where's Paper Mario U?
Edit: Holy shit, that looks amazing. Suddenly I can't wait to get a Wii U. I just hope they release some RPG's before I get my U...
As I've watched the trailer a few more times I've noticed some more striking similarities to Super Mario Bros. 2.
This game is totally set in Subcon, I have no doubt about it.
Yeah, I'd be lying if I said this didn't look good. It looks way better than it did at E3.
Warning: Spoilers inside!
Some of this stuff is jaw-droppingly gorgeous.
I'd buy this game for "A Pimp Named Bowser" alone. Everytime.
This trailer is responsible for making me want a WiiU. But I want a Vita as well and there's some games coming up and I don't have any money.
Woah. I thought the game was "decent" and was going to pass it up and wait to buy it sometime down the road. After the trailer, this might need to be a day-one buy.
I wanted a Wii U anyway, but this makes me really excited; finally a good quality game comparable to Super Mario Galaxy. (I still want a Paper Mario game though.) Can anyone tell me if this'll be multiplayer or do I have to find out for myself?
How about you and I rob a bank and split the loot 50/50? Or a better alternative is to have a stand and make hot dogs and lemonade. (And Dr. Pepper/Diet Coke, for those who don't like lemonade...)
It's 4-player multiplayer just like the NSMB games. Local only.
Holy balls that looks amazing
i played the demo a few months ago was not impressed, probably wasn't even going to get it. but now after that trailer, %100 day one buy for sure.
This only makes more excited for it!
Freakin' loved it since playing at the Best Buy event
Completely amazed. I guess that the Wii U does have a gaem.
Hell yeah it looks awesome. I showed this to my kids and they were losing their minds with excitement screaming in glee and laughing and dropping a bunch of "OH MY GOSH!"'s....now they have been bugging me ever since to get the game. They don't seem to understand that it's not out yet.
I wish I would have recorded their reactions.
But dammit they better support nun-chucks for multi-player! (I would like 3D too)
the ninty game page shows the 'chuck as a supported controller, and being played in a 3D plane I would say that the chances are pretty high :-)
in fact, i would say that it's *almost* more likely that you can't use a 'mote without a chuck!
Actually, you can play it with just a sideways Wiimote. At least at the Nintendo Experience demos you could
