Hacking Super Mario 3D Land

Hi all, is there a chance that the new Nintendo firmware update that unlocks 25% more CPU power will block our acekards?

If so how quick are Acekard/AKAIO with fixes?

I know this is a very newb and dumb topic but I'm surprised no one has brought it up yet.

That 25% more CPU power is just a rumor as of now. But most likely that update will include some anti-piracy measures.

Also, are you trying to ask us if the Acekard is blocked in the Super Mario 3D Land update? If so, yes it was blocked but Acekard is working on a fix and they will release it once the big November update (the update with 3D video recording and messaging system etc) so they can see if the update will or will not block the Acekard again.

i'm sitting on my pre-order Mario 3D Land waiting for the update. sux... got uncharted 3 and later this week Zelda SS to keep me busy. anyone know the date of the november 3Ds update?

I searched far and wide for the answer here- does AKAIO 1.8.9 (released just the other day) allow me to use my Acekard 2i on my 3DS with Firmware 2.2? I bought Super Mario 3D land and updated, so I'm now awaiting the AKAIO fix so I can play my DS roms again.

Fingers crossed for that bootloader. 3D land is good, but I want to play Hotel Dusk 2!

Sorry, still early for me...I am a jerk in the morning.

Moving on, most likely they are waiting for that big update Nintendo has to be the first to release an update like they did last summer.
