Gaming Super Dodgeball DS Coming

Arc System Works is bringing Super Dodgeball to the Nintendo DS. The original Super Dodgeball (actually for NES, not SNES) was one of my favorite games of all time. You, as an American team, must battle cultural stereotypes from around the world in dodgeball—until they submit to your superior way of life/dodgeball skills. Meanwhile, you, as conqueror, take the best parts of each culture, assimilating them into a better dodgeball move arsenal.

The new version will feature gameplay similar to the old version, but with added punches and kicks, as well as an 8-player Battle Royale deathmatch.There's no release date yet, but keep your eyes peeled for my trails of smoke, wafting toward my nearest videogame establishment.

Awesome.

The SNES version of Super Dodge Ball was pretty good as in the main mode you could customize your team with upgrades from the shop.

Oh and River City Ransom DS would be good, but it should really be a sequel

And it was incredible.

I loved to play Dodgeball as a kid in real life.. never ever played any video game version of it. Judging from your comments I think this would be well worth a try

The US Release has been tweaked so it runs a little faster

Can we get a Worldcup/Super Spike volleyball DS? The NES game was soo awesome. I loved that Worldcup game. A+B = Kick other teams ass with special bicycle kick. Tackle all game = other team just lies down whole game. Cause..that would make my 365 days.
