thank god for full demo's cause there's absolutely no way I would be happy to have paid money for this crap
You played the US version? Because its not horribly slow.

It is a bit slow, so i wouldn't get it either. The tournament's pretty hard when you make your own team since they die in one hit while the other team takes 3 to go down. I'm still having trouble training my team since i've lost every game so far...

yup

it's horribly slow
not as bad as the japanese release, but it's still terrible

it's about half the game that the NES or GBA versions are

Well I can't say I minded the speed at all, especially once I got the items that sped me up. It is a shame that you can't run all the time but I have no probs with pressing the direction twice to run/

GBA version was horrible, really dull! SFC, Neo Geo & NES ones were great though.

Did u edit you characters right? first time i played in easy mode with my team.... none of my characters were edited... so they had 1 everything and it took me 4ever to find out

o how do you edit the characters? i'm kinda clueless with the controls. I figured out catch, throw, punch, kick and duck/pickup
do i need anything else?

How the hell do you jump and throw in this game the CPU does it all the time. Also how do you throw specials?
Its stupid, you have to press A+B to jump. Would have been better mapped to one button.

it's a clumsy remake of the NES version

the GBA version absolutely wtfpwns it, sadly

Well disagree with that, definitely not a remake, NES version was more fun. And the GBA one is the worse SDB game there is.

Different strokes I guess.

Woooo...brawl mode? That sounds like bean ball from the NES game and I loved the hell out of that with 8 people running around, one left standing. Ticked me off the GBA one had that removed but still a mighty awesome game.

Super Dodgeball in the arcade is insanely hard and 100% pure randomness to attack patterns and it's my fav and it had me hooked to all these. I will so be getting this but I was kind of waiting until next week so I can get it and Indy at the same time, but if I can't stand it I'll go earlier. This is the only game (arcade and NES version) I feel ever confident in boasting that I'll whip anyones ass at it, even with a cripple team. I hope only to get that damn good with this one.

Does it have online so I can screw with people? This would be the one case I'd take a game online willingly.

Might be noob question... but what are the controls.. I can't seem to throw a super throw. I can only throw regular balls =[

Your balls are regular!!!!

I am enjoying this, but then again I am more or less a 10 year old with a beard and a beer gut!

guess so!

what'd you dislike about the GBA version?

I thought being able to call guys to run and jump, and then pass the ball to them mid jump was awesome

it made for spectacular head to head games

Holy crap this sucks ass.

The ball moves so slow it's practically inert, and the controls suck ass too. If this is a 'speed up' of the Japanese version, I'd hate to play that.

You get used to it. I just hate how the movement is so slow. After throwing a ball at someone i run back, and by the time i turn around, i get hit most of the time. If you run, it takes a while to stop before you can turn. Its annoying. -.-
