Gaming super bomberman r

I have super bomberman r and mine qeustion is hoe can i change the difficult. I can only play with veteran.

I have patch 1.4.

Yeah you can change the difficulty, in the story mode menu press continue and if you see the menu to choose a planet press the x button to change the difficulty,. If when you enter the story mode menu and it instead shows a character select screen where it also shows the stage just kill yourself until all your lives run out and then press give up, press yes and it will take you to the planet selection screen and you can press 'x' here to change the difficulty
