I recently got into modding Advance Wars 1+2: Re-Boot Camp for the Switch. I play on a Switch Lite, so I dumped the game to an emulator to play it on my primary computer monitor instead.
I published one performance enhancement mod for the game so far. The high-res uncompressed cinematic files caused severe frame drops during emulation, so I optimized the assets to smooth out the rendering. The mod can be found here.
I also plan to create custom assets for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at some point.
