Taking up a hobby of restoring my old tech and backing up my digital games + save files.
Just found a bunch of old stuff at my parents' home while I was visiting, including original Xbox, PS2 Slim, Kindle DX and a SNES with a few games.
So far I got the Xbox working and am about to fix the disc drive. Got an OSSC with HD Retrovision cables for those consoles and revived the Kindle DX with battery replacement.
Currently looking at how to setup Homebrew on my Wii U and 3DS to save all my data in case those die out.
Curious, for Wii U I read through the Haxchi method and looks good but am worried about the Cold boot Haxchi method breaking my console. Any thoughts on this and is it worth doing it or should I continue without the Cold boot?
Thanks all.
