Your doing something wrong. Just try the .cia from the thread you go the seed.

You should always set it to sort by release date.
i'll try the cia method as a last ditch effort.

Make sure you try importing seed before moving to .cia (The .cia will need the seed imported.)

Last edited by GreaterDog,
tried starting after download, crash. imported the seed after freeshop, crash. gonna try import the seed then install from cia.

Maybe it's because you boot Luma from a bootloader and since the demo uses extended memory mode you need to customise the path to Luma...(no idea how to do that though)

i imported the seed . start the game , goes to 3ds logo , black screen , lights up , ''an error has occured Hold down the POWER Button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again.''

Strange. freeshop and the .cia worked fine for me this morning.

. . . lmao what is luma . . . yep my broken 2ds uses shadownand surprisingly surviving after a mistake

Luma3ds...the Custom Firmware?

From here : https://github.com/AuroraWright/Luma3DS/wiki/FAQ-and-troubleshooting
GBA/DS games/DSiWare/Smash Bros/Monster Hunter 4 fail to start
You haven't configured Luma3DS to work with your boot manager, please refer to this for instructions.

(Optional) Making Luma3DS work with an external boot manager
If you're using a boot manager (BootCtr9, CtrBootManager9, ARM9Select, etc.) to load Luma3DS, you won't be able to play GBA/DSiWare games, or certain games that need more RAM on the device (such as Super Smash Bros).

  • You can disable your boot loader OR
  • Change Luma3DS's path (refer to the Options and usage page).
Use custom path: If the option is on, you can change the default location of the Luma3DS payload (which is arm9loaderhax.bin on the root of the SD) by typing it in a path.txt file in luma, it must start with a / and not exceed 55 characters.
This path is also picked up if not booting via A9LH.

ok, seed and cia didn't work. gonna try custom path now

Are you using a boot manger. Don't that breaks High Memory mode games. (Sun and Moon are High Mem Mode games)
I think I am. I removed the animation boot loader thing, and it complained about not having an anim folder. Guess i gotta find where thats going now lol
