Hello,
So I was having trouble with my xKey (for my xBox 360) and while searching for a solution, I found a post on this forum where someone else was having a different issue that I was able to help with. They were looking for the original xKey MicroSD firmware files (which I have). So I created a detailed reply with links to the files (that I uploaded to MediaFire) and also step by step instructions that I wrote....only to then be directed to a registration page. Once I completed that, I was then informed that because I'm a new member, my response didn't go through because newbies can't post links.

My suggestion is to simply place some kind of note/alert under the "Reply" text field to inform unregistered people about that.
I especially found it odd that prior to registering an account, every post I viewed showed me the "Reply" field, making me think that I was able to reply. But now that I'm actually a registered user (and still a newbie), the "Reply" fields aren't visible and shows a message saying "You have insufficient privileges to reply here."
That message (or something similar) displayed to me while I was unregistered, would have saved me 30 minutes of creating a post that completely went to waste.

And don't get me wrong, I completely understand why you have these rules in place, but all I'm suggesting is to:
•Disable the reply box for unregistered users ...which will indirectly let them know they need to register...and when they do, they will become aware of all the guidelines/rules....
AND/OR
•Leave a note or caption underneath the Reply box.

Thanks for your time and for the great forum
