And if you suspect it's a virus, just download it on a virtual machine or severely scan it with VirusTotal.
Rewriting the cartridge is technically impossible though.

try it urself, then say its fake. it may sound fake, but its not... i actually didnt find this myyself. my friends are like geeks and i know how to make some programs, so they were doing somethign with a chip inside the 3ds or sumthing, and they told me and showed me the concept, then they asked me to make the write/dumper program using my programming skills. so its us as a team, i cant take full credit
