Homebrew Stupid question

Ok so it goes like this, in the homebrew channel 1.0.8, right next to the internet signal icon in the left down corner, there is a little lizard like thing, WHAT IS IT'S FREAKING PURPOSE?

I believe it is for a usb gecko which is of no use to a regular person who just wants to use some homebrew. Developers use usb geckos when creating or fixing apps because they can output debug code, among other things.

If you want it gone I can make you a custom HBC theme where it doesn't show up.
