I don't know what to do right now, I just got my 5th fygg in I think Gleeba? I'm just now picking up the game again and my story so far does not say what to do next.

Thanks you two, but I ended up going to Swinedimples instead. I'll remember to search for it after I'm done with this part, or if this part is too high a level right now.

You should be okay, before I messed up my game by trying to cheat...I also went to Swinedimples first thought it was pretty easy.

It has been a LONG time science anyone has posted so i shall once again repeat MY problem."in dq9 i am at wormwood after falling from the starflight. the mayor wont spawn in the church at night. he spawns in his house babbling about dragons. i use and acekard 2i with the xenom rom. i have used the save editor v .6 to level up and change vocations. i also made all quests complete and got 4x all scriptures and the best weapons."

Go to the inn and stay overnight with no cheats on and see if that does anything.

I USED A SAVE EDITOR! NOT THE CHEATS! IT IS NOT LIKE I CAN GO AND PERFECTLY RECREATE TH PRE EDIT CIRCUMSTANCES!

arent you supposed to go to the cave in the northwest to meet the lady ghost? try that.

edit: scratch that, i think you need to spend the night in the inn first or something. then the meeting with the mayor would go on. try that.

Damn you guys do that at a lot higher levels than I did it...When I was there I think I had maybe level 30-32 priest, warrior, mage, then a 25 ish gladiator and I was able to beat it no problems. My characters are still only 38-39 and I'm at the final boss (they suggested to be 45 ish to get to him

lvl 45 to kill him?!?!
thats bullshit i killed him no problem in mid 30...
people who kill him at lvl 45 are just freaking noobs

IIRC that's the point where you have to go to the church at night and attend the village meeting on what to do about the black dragon, Barbarus.

Yeah, follow the walkthrough at Gamefaqs to the letter. If you already completed the train sequence, and talked to the couple people in town, then there should be some progress. If it still doesn't work then restart the game and don't use the editor. You were placing your faith in somebody knowing what they were doing. For all anybody knows, it changed a zero where it should have been a one and now it's unsalvageable.

Ya know... this topic is dead, but i finally was able to fix the wormwood glitch so... can you inflict status inflictions like paralysis on legacy bosses? is anyone else going to post on this thread again other than me? find out next time.

How did you fix the glitch?

a bit late but the dlc was conficting with the main game.
turning off the quests with the sav editor was most likely what he did.
