stripped 3ds screws

how do i get out the stripped screws? im trying to use a drill extractor kit, but i dont think its small enough to fit.
The screws are too small for any screw extractors, or life hacks to work. You're gonna have to drill them out. I've tried every life hack, and none of them work.

You can try the rubber band trick, put a small rubber band between the screw and screwdriver, it might give some friction to get it loose.

Else, you can dip your screwdriver in some superglue, push it in the screw and let it dry. That also might give you enough grip to loosen it.

If there's still thread left at the bottom of the head you could try a JIS driver instead of a Philips one. JIS are basically like phillips except the angle is a little more acute and thus they reach further into the head, which might make them able to catch onto whatever is left.
Nintendo is also a Japanese company so basically every screw used in any of their devices uses Japanese standards, and that includes the OEM screws actually being JIS and not Philips. Which is also part of the reason why they strip so easily, Philips is technically not the right screw driver head to use here.

I had got the cover off now I need a replacement ribbon cable for the left shoulder button

In all my years I don’t think the rubber band trick or super glue one has even worked a little bit

One time and one time only I was able to sort of melt a pen cap with a bic lighter until it got soft so I could shove it into an Xbox 360 screw. That worked about 3 times before the plastic broke and I could never do it again
