Various of kinds of R4 card are flooded in the market, which makes NDS green hands hard to make their choice, even make some veterans confused. Despite of wasting our money, we can’t even play the games with those fake cards from those unscrupulous merchants, which will make you feel sick.

There are five major brands, R4,DSTT,AK2,M3,SC. MS and SC belong to hi-tech card, of great technology. However M3 hasn’t upgraded its kernel for a long time?which makes games unavailable to play. For SC, high price but not good handwork. The latest DSTWO is of bad handwork and high price. Its advantage is just one more GBA simulator. We can’t run so many classic games with this card, why not buying a GBA instead?

Talk about this AK2, I have never been interested in this product, for its high price and poor technique. And AK2 hasn’t upgraded its kernel anymore, so most of the games can’t be run with this card.

DSTT is of cheap price and good stability. Yet currently DSTT hasn’t upgraded its latest kernel, so new games can’t be run. What’s more, fake cards are all over the market. Once TT kernel is input in the fake card, the program inside the kernel will ruin the fake card.

There are several types of R4 brand, such as R4I,R4ISDHC,R4IGOLDR4.

First of all, make sure of your game console type, is it NDS, NDSL?NDSI or DSILL?There is a type of exclusive R4 for NDS and NDSL. Attention for NDSI and NDSILL, make sure whether it supports 1.4 version or not.
