When I uninstall a patch, is it 100% removed? (Reinstalling SysMenu should make 101% clean?

People... one zip file is "StartPatch4.0.5_USA_src.rar", right? I need unzip this?? If yes, where I put the unzip folder to what directory on my SD?? Doing this, resolve my problem of error -1017??

The src file is the source code which you dont need unless you are a programmer and know how to read it.
As for your error im not sure.
Change the file name to boot.dol, put it in the aps folder and it should work.

SD:/apps/startpatch 4.0.5/boot.dol then launch it in HBC.

Are you able to install other apps?

That error means one of your IOS files needs to be patched. Make sure you have patched IOS files for 16, 35, 36 and 60 as well as some version of cIOS249.

That error means one of your IOS files needs to be patched. Make sure you have patched IOS files for 16, 35, 36 and 60 as well as some version of cIOS249.

Do how I see what IOS i have on my Wii??

Dude, I doesn't want downgrade the firmware... i prefer to stay on 4.0 myself because the SD icon is marvelous to me, okay.
3.2 or 3.4 never more!!! I only play original games, inclusive imported games. I want play imported original games (I have MHG JPN, MH3 Demo JPN, Biohazard Zero JPN, Disaster PAL) on Disc Channel without to need enter on HBC / GeckoOS. StartPatch would be my salvation, but the error -1017 doesn't working.

ios patch dont mean that you go back to 3.2 or 3.4 ...

i would DOWNGRADE to 3.2 than upgrade back to 4.0 with waninkoko´s sys updater 4.0, so the wii have the trucha bug on 4.0

you need tho use the 3 patches that says "region free wii" and the 2 patches that says "Force Disc Region"

Well, I use the wiikey 1 and have no problems playing USA/PAL (most if not all) backups on my JPN region console. Did you install cioscorp files or softmii?

Are you going to take our advice or not? There is a way to fix you're problem. Read my previous post. Re-install the key IOS files with patched versions. It's probably:

@bloodlust. i do not have any softmii or ciscorp. I only installed a few cios and patched ios60. Is anybody able to confirm that wiikey2 has native region free? I can't play "my sims party (pal)"...
