So if everything was done correctly the US version of Star Fox Zero should be 4.84 GB? I'm getting that number from Loadiine compatibility and want to confirm with anyone else who did the fix.

Okay,
I am trying this for Wonderful 101 (EUR) but I dont seem to get it to work...
downloaded latest update, unpacked the files, and repacked them with the folders..however, i removed english, as i prefer japanese sound...
is this my problem?
I didn't include the sound/stream/* folder structure, but put the file alongside the 2 original files in the cpk.
Could that also be my problem?

So the questions are:
is the english language ABSOLUTELY neccessary?
Do I have to delete the original 'sound/stream' folder afterwards?
Do I have to delete the (poreviously created) filelist.txt from loadiine to make this all take effect?
Do I have to manually set all/some files to 'COMPRESS' in the '*out.csv'?
How do I have to align the folders INSIDE the cpk?

./st4/
./st5/
./Japanese/
./***.wem
./st4/
./st5/
./sound/stream/Japanese/
./sound/stream/***.wem

Thanks in advance and kind regars :)

And btw. really good description, except for the part i just mentioned above ;P

@Kohmei & @lordpsycho : Do you guys know what I could be doing wrong here?

If the game is booting into English then it probably needs it at least until you change the setting once.
About the folder structure though, I have no idea.

Thank you for your answer :)

I finally figured out what my problem was... didn't delete the old stream folder (thought i did though, and well somehow did too..but on the wrong folder...deleted it in my backup of the origin content ^^").

I have now in the cpk:
./sf4/***
./sf5/***
./sound/stream/English(US)/***
./sound/stream/Japanese/***
./sound/stream/***

Where '***' represents the files originally in this folders.
I then deleted the whole ./sound/stream directory from the originally dumped(and converted) content folder.

It works like a charm.
Thanks to @Heran Bago for his answer.
He even went through the trouble to look for a fix himself and held me informed via PN.
Props to him :)

Kind regards,
Sno0t

Proper rebuild of data001.cpk: (should fix missing audio since it shouln'd be compressed)

1. Extract with CriToolpack1.0 all files from data001.cpk with decompress CRILAYLA (single file only possible)

face/face_fox.dat
face/face_fox_new.dat
face/face_naus.dat
data_cpk.fst
effprim.epb
graphic.bxm
shader.dat
shader2.dat
shadereff.bxm
shadereff.dat
shadersetting.bxm
ShaderSign.dat

2. Place all files in one folder, example: c:\temp
3. Copy your desired language into that folder, example: c:\temp\sound\stream\English(US)
4. Start CPKTools
5. Hit 'browse' and choose c:\temp
6. Data Align: 2048, Coding: UTF-8, Mode: Filename, no Dir.Mask and no ForceCompress
7. Choose 'save path' and 'filename > data001.cpk'
8. Start to Build your new file
8.1 Edit your .csv file with a texteditor of your choice and change for the following files from 'Uncompress' to 'Compress':

face/face_fox.dat
face/face_fox_new.dat
face/face_naus.dat
data_cpk.fst
effprim.epb
graphic.bxm
shader.dat
shader2.dat
shadereff.bxm
shadereff.dat
shadersetting.bxm
ShaderSign.dat

Example: C:\temp\data_cpk.fst, \data_cpk.fst, 0, Compress
(File on Disk, file in .cpk, ID-NR, Compress or Uncompress)

8.2 Use the following commandline to create the new 'data001.cpk' in 'c:\':
cpkmakec cpkmaker.out.csv -align=2048 -code=UTF-8 -mode=FILENAME c:\data001.cpk
9. Replace data001.cpk with this new generated file
10. Remove ALL language folders from content\sound\stream
If you want, you can add all audiofiles from 'stream' folder,
but have to remove the files or the game is stuck on loading!
Max. 2 Languages inside .cpk or game will blackscreen.
I've perfect loading with latest loadine gx2 with a simple file edit.

1. Extract with CriToolpack1.0 all files from data001.cpk with decompress CRILAYLA (single file only possible)

face/face_fox.dat
face/face_fox_new.dat
face/face_naus.dat
data_cpk.fst
effprim.epb
graphic.bxm
shader.dat
shader2.dat
shadereff.bxm
shadereff.dat
shadersetting.bxm
ShaderSign.dat

2. Place all files in one folder, example: c:\temp
3. Copy your desired language into that folder, example: c:\temp\sound\stream\English(US)
4. Remove ALL subfolders on your sdcard for languages
5. Start CriPackedFileMaker 1.36.00
6. Hit 'open base directory for cpk File packing' and browse to c:\temp
7. Press 'Build CPK File' and choose the path and name to create your new data001.cpk
8. Data Align: 2048, [X] Try Compression, [ ] Mask directories information, File Mode: Filename
9. Start to Build your new file
10. Replace data001.cpk and you are good to go, my loading time is around 8~10 secs with full audio

A bit confused here ...

In step (1) are those 12 files all the files that should appear in the CriToolpack folder after extracting all the files from data0001.cpk ? Or they the only files you need to copy into the c:\temp folder ?

Does anyone have the csv file?

Hi all.

I spent the better part of the weekend trying to repack the data001.cpk file for Star Fox Zero but I keep getting a blackscreen when I run the game.

I would really appreciate it if anyone who has it working on a US console with a EUR version of the game could message me or reply here.

Thanks so much and have a great evening.
