Anybody know what the "Start rescue-menu when Y is held on 1st GC controller" and "Remove rescue-menu diagnostic disc check" options are?

basicaly allows you to auto boot your games if you have them both on. untill the recovory menu has a real interface and options

I keep trying to install it but it just doesn't work.

I'm holding B and 1 at the same time (hell, I even tried 2 even though I read not to

) and it's not working, yet when I hit the home button, it returns to loader. :/

Anyone besides me and Arm the Homeless having this issue?

quick question (sorry if it's been asked before). the only way it can potentially brick the Wii is if it makes an error during the installation process right? if it installs fine there is no way for a brick to occur, theoritically speaking anyways, other than like a forced update or something correct?

Try to format SD card, and try again.
Try with another SD card

The thing is really picky. I have to press them together like 5 times at the same time until it finally works.

Do you have to complain about your lack of wifi in each and every post and topic? Wouldn't it save you some brain cells to go out and buy a $20 router?

well whatever a backmenu is it will be better than a black screen , i thought i bricked my wii when the black screen came up the first time .. this app rocks! .. i'll test it out later and post back if no one else does.

stops the update in games??

The back menu is those little black Wii screens.
Much better than the old patch.

And "Skip Disk Update Check" means that the disk won't try and see if you need to update.

as said above .. backmenu is the grey / black squares that you see while the menu is loading after leaving a game / channel .. it also now just skips the whole deal , goes straight to the wii menu , than you have to press A to initialize the wiimote .. way better :]
