Starcraft was the freaking best RTS. I hope this is also a great RTS.

I should probably get around to trying the first game out. My experiences with RTS titles consist only of Age of Empires and Dawn of War. I might try this one out.

I have played the beta and the original game a little but I never got into it as much as age of empires

That's a really random date, but coincidentally it's also my mom's birthday.
Bad time for a release in my opinion, I was hoping for 6/11 since that's when school's over for me. Why the hell would they release this in the middle of summer rather than the start?

I guess they think the beta needs to be long enough and they still need to work on it. Really though, they want to release it before the holiday season where ActiBlizzard also releases CoD:Black Ops and WoW:Cataclysm. That's probably the best they can work with.

lol they do that in the hopes of you spending the first month of summer outdoors instead of spending your whole summer at the computer...
