Staples: Bleh

I'm so freaking mad at Staples right now.

So, my first days back had this schedule.
5-15 - 10 hour day
5-16 - 10 hour day
5-17 - 12 hour day (3 PM to 3 AM)
5-18 - off

Then the manager asks me if I'd work at 5 AM on Monday and made it sound like a one time thing. Next thing I know, this is on my schedule.
5-19 - 5 AM to 1:30 PM
5-20 - 5 AM to 1:30 PM

Then on Monday, he asks if I would show up an hour earlier the next day. I said no, he called me wimpy, and then I mentioned how no one even asked if I would do 5 for Tuesday in the first place.

So Tuesday rolls around and I show up at 5. The manager (who just called me wimpy the day before), who has to be there at 7 to start opening the store, shows up 45 minutes late.

Now this week, I was supposed to have Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday off. So the manager comes up to me today, tells me I no longer have Wednesday off, and oh, I'm working 9 PM to 5 AM 5 days in a row next week.

I'm tired of this weird hour bs.

like no offense, but he is treating you like shit
sure your getting tons of hours ... but look at what time they are at.....


i mean if you can afford not to work for a week while u find a new job then quit asap.....

The problem is stores are super slow at hiring. I'm talking 2-3 weeks for them to look through applications, call you in for an interview and then getting back to you. Plus, I'm only home for the summer and stores hate to hire for summer because of training someone who is just going to leave. Also, anywhere else I'd go I'd lose what I'm making right now.
