People who have done this, is there any upside to this? Should I just wait for SALT to release theirs or are they basically the same thing? I'm trying to decide if I should just do it or wait for the better SALT release but if they are the same thing, I will just pull the trigger now. Thanks.

You can maybe install digital content to NAND/USB via wupinstaller, and are in the danger zone of WiiU-land.
No ColdBootHax here (yet?), either.

If you want to try, I'd suggest maybe doing the NAND dump and testing boot once, but if you want to just use things nicely stick to current methods.

I'm willing to put money on it that salts version will be very similar to this... Maybe a different dumper & installer & that'll be the difference. Tbh I'm not sure how far they have gotten tbh... In the hacking discussion thread, wolffystylez? Was asking people to test files on 8gb wiiu's for salts nand dumper, literally while he was asking people to test it, dimok released a stable dumper/installer w/ rednand/sig patches for 32gb + 8gb.

I'll ask here because I'm not 100% sure on this... Has the public releases so far taken over team salts???

Ok. That's what I thought. I just wasn't sure if SALT had a completely different way of setting everything up that would be better or not. I have no use for RedNAND right now as I don't care to pirate anything. Everything I want, I own and it seem that this is the only "useful" function right now.

I don't think so... Salt team have 0 reason to share the source code, they just ask people to test their dumper (which is compiled).
So, why dimok have the source code? Because he did it! :-p
https://github.com/dimok789/iosuhax
Just a coincidence...

They're asking people to test things for they're dumper while dimoks was finished & ready to go. That's what I mean by them being behind.

I want know if I can change to "SALT mode" with my reNAND or I must do other redNAND dump with SALT' tools.
