I set up Rednand last night and all went very well, no issues at all and everything that was in sysnand also my External HDD games all show up in Rednand exactly the same, now what I am thinking if I pulled my sd card out the slot and my external HDD/Y Cable out the back and formatted my sysnand then I would of thought if I plugged my external HDD/Y Cable back in afterwards it should all show up the same as before the format in rednand? has this been tested yet I might of missed out since last nights comments. Also I found something very odd last night, if I create a folder in Rednand it does not show up in sysnand now if they are supposed to be connected then should it not be there? also if I install a game in sysnand, it wont show up in Rednand but they are supposed to be connected and need unlinking, it does not make sense to me.

After formatted sysnand to unlink from rednand, all the installed games on hdd will be disappeared regardless formatting without hdd plugged or not. The hdd should be formatted on rednand to be validated. After unlinking the two nands, they will be separated and stay on its own. However, installed games using nus things will be accessible on the two nands but games will be accessible on the nand they are belonged to.

But has this been tested and confirmed because I cannot see why it would not work, its just like the 3ds was with gateway emunand as long as you took your sd card out the slot and formatted systemnand to unlink the nands all your .cia games on the main menu in gateway mode would still be there in emunand, if you didn't pull your sd card out they would erase.

I did test many times overnight :D
You can test yourself (make sure backup your savedata before trying) but the result will be the same. Read through the topic again there are many people have confirmed that too.

Yes you can. Use Dimok's nand extractor https://github.com/dimok789/iosuhax/releases

You can use this to extract your nand from the unallocated space on your sd card.

I select the drive and press "dump" but it says "error: can't find the source file". Can you help me, please?

PS: i've obviously already dumped my nand successfully and the rednand works like a charm :)

Make sure you extract the .exe from its zip before use, and run it as an administrator.

you said yourself in another thread that you don't know why not, that it just isn't possible. I WANT to hear a reason if it is not possible
because its not possible, thats your reason. nobody knows how to use the USBs with web browser, but with IOSU now it should be possible. Be patient and stop asking the same damn question xD
