Okay, i'm in a sort of dilemma, I have a PAL wii, with an NTSC brawl, now with the recent update killing the freeloader (i havent updated yet), i'm thinking of a way to get rid of my NTSC brawl and to get myself a PAL version.

Now this is my idea that i'd like some feedback on. If i was to print off the PAL brawl cover (on photo paper and everything) and slip it into a PAL wii case (since the NTSC cases are different to PAL cases), and still put the instruction manual and CD into the case and everything, would you think the employees at GAME would notice a difference between it being PAL or NTSC?-and in turn accept it into a trade/gift receipt?

I'm also thinking of doing this with No More Heroes, in which i also imported and completed (it was better with blood)

Has anyone tried this before?
Do you work at GAME?
Do you think it's worth a shot?

Hi, I used to work at GAME 6 months ago. I can definitely say that this would not work! GAME trade in prices are given by the item being scanned. I used to get people trying to trade in games with fake covers. None of them scan. Even the really good fake GBA boxes...

Sorry.

Plus any GAME employee will tell you that they look at these discs/cases for hours and hours a week. They would know straight away.

Why not just sell it on Ebay?

Or trade at an independent game retailer who sell imports?

Hope this helps...

You could give that a try but are the discs the same? We had to check each disc for scratches etc so the disc will be looked at... Oh, and the ratings logo is obviously different too so that might be a give-away.

I think your best bet is to try this but at a busy time.

A Saturday maybe?!

Let me know what you decide to do! Good luck!

this may not work but if you want to try then do so.
buy ssbb pal, swap covers, swap disc plus manual do it at a very busy and crowed time. the big T is noticable so that would give it away.

well if you care that much and are broke the easiest thing to do is this. Go rent it, switch ure NTSC version for the PAL version and return it. When you return it say that the disc doesnt work and make a point to tell the clerk that it says NTSC on it and that it why it wont work.

They usually go after the person who rented it before you or the supplier. Either way, they can't prove you did anything.

Its unethical though....so if you have the money you really shouldnt.
